Please notice our goal.

You will see it repeated in almost every lesson. You will also see how almost every lesson connects to that goal. That goal will lead to becoming a trader with the freedom you really want. No one wants to be constrained to a monitor and chair everyday, yet most traders are constrained in that way.

Let’s get started with reaching our goal…

How can trading be simple? As you will see, trading will be as complicated as we want it to be or it can be as simple as we want it to be. The choice is ours. At this moment, due to our previous experience, it may not seem that trading can be simple. Take this confidence to heart, we the trader are 100% in control of our success, not the market. The ease of our success will be rooted in keeping our trading simple.

Is it possible to STOP guessing and start knowing with confidence what actions we are going to take when we are trading? Yes!

That sounds easy enough to say but how do we really know for sure the right actions we need to take? It is not only important to know what actions to take, we must also know the right time to take those actions.

One skill a fireman has is knowing how to put out fires. Now imagine a fireman driving around the neighborhood hosing down houses where there are no fires. If we saw that, what would we be thinking. Most jobs are about having a skillset and knowing the right time to use those skills. What if a surgeon started to remove your appendix before the anesthesiologist put you to sleep? OUCH!

A valuable skill, used at the wrong time, equals a bad outcome.

A surgeon with a scalpel walking around cutting random people – is a crime. A trader with an internet connection and BUY and SELL buttons and just mashing those buttons, not knowing why and when the right time is to push those buttons- should be a crime.

With those practical ideas in mind, let’s start working towards our goal by keeping trading simple.
